looking for Julianne Moore,
bound to be wearing Tom Ford.

Any one of his special Spring Collection 2011 pieces would be best dressed on the OSCARS Red Carpet or an inspired creation for one of his Muses.

on Tom Ford:
"Tom's a friend of mine. I've known him for a long time from the fashion world and socially. I knew that he had aspirations to direct. He's talked about it for a long time, but never to me.
When he sent me the script it was out of the blue, it was a quite a surprise. I was very struck by it. I loved my character. She made me laugh and I hadn't seen anyone like her before and I hadn't seen a friendship depicted like that." NY Daily News

  1. Is she a favourite actress of yours? She looks great in pink and blue and teal. I enjoyed the post and the information on the lavender palm..your kind of thing!love,.

  2. Two colleagues from my office, which is three doors down from Tom Ford's store on Rodeo Drive, when to the opening party last week. They said it was amazing.
I love the way that he uses jewel tones in his gowns. They are so beautiful.

  3. Mag- I do think she is quite good- along with several others, she certainly is versatile .I think in this case the blue- electric! is what drew me in! yes I have been on a lavender binge.

Belle- What fun. I am crazy about this color.

  4. I just love her. She has class, style, can act and seems down to Earth.

  5. Love her, him and the combination. Clearly you were meant to have the perfume!!

  6. I loved her in The Hours and Boogie Nights! That dress makes me think of Blue Velvet...

PS-you wanted to know what I think of the Haslam book--so much to say I wrote a post! Please see my latest blog post about Sheer Opulence.
